Guild History

In October 2009, Chopz (ex-Silence Warrior) formed a pugging/social guild on Silvermoon called ‘Uberpug’ whom later became known as the raiding guild Starlight.

Our ethos was to create a socially healthy environment for raiding by raiding having fun raids at slightly later times and fewer days per week. With only 2 Hour raids for 3 days a week Starlight progressed very quickly in ICC Hardmodes and got to rank 6th on the server just behind Just Casuals and Nevermore.

Due to lack of recruitment and higher % buffs in ICC, other guilds that raided for longer hours/days naturally caught up on progress. Starlight is still a respected guild and has stayed strong even during the harder times like summer vacation periods.

Starlight is a highly social and friendly guild, the raiding core are a group of friends from around the world whom friendship can date back to the good old fashioned vanilla years.

Guild Leadership

A great guild starts with great management; we keep a good balance between different types of officers and tight relationships between raiders. We keep to a fluid structure of responsibility; this breeds honesty, trust and mutual respect so that we can rely upon each other.

We know that happy raiders are good raiders, so we made a promise to keep a lively, friendly and family-like atmosphere within the guild.

Our officers have are handpicked, have shown great talent within raids and have years of trusted experience. From seeing poorly executed leadership in previous guilds we made sure to never let our guildys down and to always do what is best for the guild.

Starlight are doing better than ever, our ranks/core has been much improved over the last few months and socially were still the best guild on Silvermoon.
